♦ Our evidence-based services help young autistic children, and children with other developmental disabilities, build vital skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
♦ Services target the core characteristics of autism through interventions that focus on communication, social, play, and daily living skills.
♦ We base our programs on applied behavior analysis, or ABA, which has been shown through hundreds of scientific studies to be the most effective method to teach this population.
Our centers offer children a strong start for lifelong learning.
What to expect.
Our experienced staff will conduct an initial assessment to evaluate your child's current strengths and challenges. We use both standardized testing and criterion assessments, as needed, and will review results and recommendations with you.
Following the initial assessment, your child will receive one-to-one treatment services. We tailor instruction to be developmentally appropriate for early learners and use materials, toys, and activities that are preferred by your child and your family. The focus of intensive services is to ensure each child meets the communication and related goals necessary to participate in the least restrictive educational environment possible.
Parents can receive parent training and consultation at the center or in their home. Parent consultation focuses on teaching parents to work with their children to reduce challenging behavior and generalize, or transfer, skills they learn at the center to their home setting.
