A Tribute to Henry and Verna

“Love means something different to everyone. For Henry and Verna, they just knew that they liked each other, and they liked to spend time together. And that was enough for them.”
— Jane Veno, Director of Healthcare Services, May Center for Adult Services

We all strive to find a sense of belonging in our lives, and to be loved, cared for, and understood. It is a universal desire, and it is one of the reasons why I am honored to introduce you to two people who were important members of the May Institute community for decades. The story of Verna and Henry highlights the power of the family and community that is present across May’s adult programs, enriching the lives of the individuals in our care.

We invite you to watch this video tribute to Verna and Henry, and the impact they had on so many lives.
