Edward Follen Named Senior Vice President of Administration and Finance at May Institute

Randolph, Mass. — Edward Follen, M.B.A., has joined May Institute as Senior Vice President of Administration and Finance. The national nonprofit organization serves individuals across the lifespan with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, brain injury and neurobehavioral disorders, and other special needs.

In his new position, Mr. Follen helps guide the financial management and administration of the organization. His responsibilities include oversight of the operating and capital budgets, general accounting, payroll, revenue cycle management, procurement and financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

“We are delighted to welcome Ed to our executive leadership team,” said Debra Blair, M.B.A., CMA, CPA, Treasurer and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for May Institute. “He has three decades of finance experience, including more than 20 years serving educational service and human service organizations, and eight years of financial leadership in the nonprofit world. His experience and expertise will serve us well.”

Prior to joining May Institute, Mr. Follen was the Chief Financial Officer at Riverside Community Care, Inc. His previous experience also includes leadership roles at several large early childcare agencies.

Mr. Follen earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Boston College, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Bentley College.
