Our May Community is Heartbroken for the Ukraine

03/11/22

Our May community is heartbroken by the suffering and devastation taking place in the Ukraine. We join with the global community as we hope for an end to this war and a return to peace. Today, May’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Lauren Solotar shared the following message of support with staff.

Dear Colleagues,

As we witness the ongoing and escalating humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, our thoughts are with the countless men, women, and children in that country – and throughout the world – impacted by the invasion that has caused so much death, destruction, and displacement. To date, more than 2 million Ukrainians have fled the country.
Many people have been affected by this tragedy in ways that most of us could not imagine. We do know that the violence and suffering taking place in that region are affecting us all – especially those of us who have family and friends directly impacted. Please remember that our Employee Assistance Program is available to you. You can contact your Human Resources representative to learn how to access this service.

Many of you are looking for ways to help. To show love and support for those suffering, you may want to reach out to one of the organizations listed below.
