"Investigation of Functional Analysis Methodology in Adult Service Programs to Develop Efficient and Effective Treatment Approaches,” an article co-authored by Cynthia M. Walsh, M.A., BCBA, Director of Clinical Services, Adult Services was published in Advances in Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
Advances in Neurodevelopmental Disorders publishes high-quality articles that focus on basic and applied developmental research in the broad area of intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan.
“Most research with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual and developmental disabilities focuses on young children or school-aged children,” said Dr. Anderson. “In this study, we demonstrated that relatively efficient methods of functional behavioral assessment could work in adult services, where resources can be limited.”
