Ryan Mackey
Teacher


Mr. Mackey has held multiple positions since he joined our team in 2013. He started as an Instructor, was promoted to Senior Instructor, and later transitioned to Teacher Trainee where he gained experience developing IEPs, designing treatment procedures, and managing a classroom. In September 2021, Mr. Mackey stepped into his current role of Special Education Teacher, working with a wide range of elementary, middle, high school, and transition-aged students. Mr. Mackey enjoys working with individuals with complex communication and behavioral needs and is well versed in working with students who utilize augmentative and alternative communication.

Mr. Mackey graduated from the California State University, Sacramento with a BS in Kinesiology. He currently attends California State University, Monterey Bay where he is in the process of completing coursework to obtain his MA in Special Education. Mr. Mackey holds a moderate/severe education specialist instruction credential (AAC).

Mr. Mackey graduated from the California State University, Sacramento with a BS in Kinesiology. He attended and completed his credential coursework at California State University, Monterey Bay. Mr. Mackey holds a Preliminary Education Specialist Instruction Credential (moderate/severe disabilities).
