Luis Caicedo
Vice President, Talent Management

Luis provides leadership and guidance for all May Institute locations, collaborating with each program's management team to prioritize talent attraction, engagement, and retention as the driving force behind our mission. In his role, he strategically oversees and implements programs that impact talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, employee performance management, as well as employee engagement and retention initiatives.

With more than 20 years of experience at the Hotel Ritz Carlton and Trumpet Behavioral Health, during which he focused on customer service and talent management, Luis has gained expertise in intentional leadership, anticipatory service, guest/client relations, and talent empowerment strategies.

He is a results-focused leader who delivers out-of-the-box talent management strategies with creative solutions that help organizations retain the full power of one of their most valuable assets – their people. Luis is dedicated to creating robust corporate cultures that promote continuous business growth and cultivate customer/client loyalty. He achieves this by empowering and motivating team members to realize their full potential and to bring their best to the job.

In 2015, his dedication to transformational leadership and a purpose-driven career path led him to transition to the ABA field and join Trumpet Behavioral Health’s Human Resources Team. Luis stood at the helm of the talent acquisition department, embracing different roles during one of the worst pandemics of human history and the great resignation.

Luis’s character is strengthened by promoting self-care and awareness through meditation. He makes joy a daily practice. He loves the beach and watching the sunrise, or jogging with his partner in crime, and first canine recruiter intern, Gunner. Gunner is his eight-year-old vizsla who has taught him how to love deeply and unconditionally. He also believes that staying spiritually fit is an art that brings perspective and cultivates positivity.

From day one, it was very clear to him that there was nothing more rewarding and purposeful than devoting his time to serving others and modeling the change we want to see in the world we are gifted to live in today.
