Lisa Rose, RN
School Nurse, May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, Wilmington, Mass.


Lisa has been a Registered Nurse for over 13 years. She became the School Nurse at the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Wilmington in January 2024.

Before joining May Institute, Lisa worked as a School Nurse for public schools in Stoneham and Billerica, Mass.

Her current responsibilities at our Wilmington school include providing healthcare to students for acute and chronic illnesses and injury; educating staff to manage emergency situations; collaborating with both medical and educational staff to ensure compliance to the most up-to-date healthcare policies and procedures; and maintaining healthcare records. 

Lisa earned her associate degree in Nursing from Laboure College of Healthcare in Milton, Mass. After graduating, she began her career as a dialysis nurse for Fresenius Medical Care. During her years in the dialysis, she was known for making sure her patients received the highest level of care and providing compassionate and quality care.

Lisa has a lifelong passion for helping others, and a particular interest in working with the pediatric population.
