Lauren Meyers, Ph.D.
Clinical Director, Adult Services Division, Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts


Dr. Meyers received her doctorate degree in School Psychology from Mississippi State University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Applied Behavior Analysis at The Kennedy Krieger Institute within Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. During internship, Dr. Meyers’s rotations included the Neurobehavioral Outpatient Clinic and the Pediatric Developmental Disabilities Clinical. After internship, Dr. Meyers joined May Institute as a postdoctoral fellowship within the May Center for Adult Services Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts Division. 

Dr. Meyers took the role of Clinical Director for the May Center for Adult Services Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts in February of 2023. In this role, Dr. Meyers oversees clinical programming in behavior analytic and educational interventions for more than 100 women and men with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral disorders across Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Her research interests include: the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, teaching functional life skills to adolescents and adults with disabilities, stranger safety skills, and the generalization of behavior and skills across environments.  

Dr. Meyers’s primary mission is to increase the quality of life of the individuals we serve by collaborating with service providers to provide an environment that supports that goal.
