Angela Guaraldi, LABA, BCBA
Program Director, May Center for ABA Services, Wilmington, Mass.


Angela Guaraldi is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA). She has worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities, ages 16 months-16 years, for over 10 years.

Ms. Guaraldi joined May Institute in March 2014 as a direct therapist for Boston Public Schools, responsible for implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and behavior support plans. Prior to becoming the Program Director of the May Center for ABA Services in Wilmington, she served as Program Director for the May Center in Randolph for 16 months. Ms. Guaraldi has also served as BCBA across both centers for two years. In her role as a BCBA, she was responsible for creating and overseeing behavior analytic interventions for individuals with ASD. In addition, Ms. Guaraldi was in charge of developing and monitoring behavior reduction supports, training new team members, and supervising BCBA candidates.

As a Program Director, Ms. Guaraldi coordinates the hiring and training of new team members, reviews treatment plans, organizes clinical team meetings, and oversees the intake of new clients.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mount Ida College, and her master’s degree in Behavior Analysis from Simmons University. Her clinical experience and interests include teaching skill acquisition to early learners, promoting alternative augmentative communication (AAC) to non-verbal individuals, and implementing skill-based treatment (SBT) to teach life skills such as tolerating delays and denials.
