May Center School in Wilmington Builds Playground!

10/16/18

The May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Wilmington, Mass., recently broke ground on a new playground! Opportunity for play is critical to the education and healthy development of the children we serve at the Wilmington school. Along with a safe surface, we are installing equipment that is designed for children of all levels of ability.

This playground would not be possible without our generous supporters. Thank you to Cummings Foundation, People’s United Community Foundation of Eastern Massachusetts, Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation and all of May’s friends and family who supported this fundraising effort.

“Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.”  ~Mr. Rogers
