Celebrating Shirley!

Congratulations to Shirley Gan, who recently celebrated 20 years with May Institute!

Shirley joined the organization as the pro­gram secretary at the May Center School for Brain Injury and Related Disorders in 1994.

“While many of my friends were planning retirement parties, I wanted to continue working, but also to have an opportunity to give back,” said Gan. She has done just that, and credits the May for “keeping her mind sharp.”

Shirley is a warm and welcoming presence at the school, and a valued employee who helps to keep things running smoothly.

Since 1993, the May Center School for Brain Injury and Related Disorders has served children and adolescents with brain injury acquired through accident, illness, or neurological disease.
