Accessing Autism Services: The New ARICA Law

Free Information Session - Online Registration Below!

ARICA Information Session Postcard

There is an important new law affecting insurance coverage for autism in Massachusetts. An Act Relative to Insurance Coverage for Autism (ARICA) went into effect on January 1, 2011. This law impacts families with children and adults with autism, and requires that insured health plans cover “medically necessary” services for the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders. Services may be accessed through Blue Cross, UBH, Celtic Care, Tufts and others, including Mass Health.

We invite you to attend a free informational session on the new legislation.

Questions/topics will include:

  • What are the limitations of the coverage?
  • What services does ARICA cover?
  • How do I access services?
  • What insurance plans are not covered by the new law?
  • How can I access services through Mass Health?
  • When can I access services?

Call for more information or to register by phone. Register online by filling out the form below.

We will be offering additional sessions on future dates. Please check back again soon!
