May Institute Launches Holiday Drawing Contest for Kids at Borders®

Randolph, Mass. – May Institute and Borders® stores throughout Massachusetts invite kids under the age of 15 to participate in our 2010 Holiday Drawing Contest. The grand prizewinner of the contest will have his or her artwork reproduced on a 2011 May Institute Holiday Card to be sold online and at Borders® stores throughout Massachusetts. There is no entry fee to participate in the contest.

All proceeds from the sale of the winning card will support May Institute’s programs for children and adults with autism, brain injury, and other special needs. The top three contest winners will each receive a $50 Borders gift certificate, and a box of holiday cards featuring their artwork.

The drawing contest is part of a special fundraising event – May Institute Benefit Days at Borders® – taking place on December 3-5, 2010. All Holiday Drawing Contest entries must be submitted on the Holiday Contest Form and be hand-delivered to any Borders® store in Massachusetts during these three event days. Select Borders® locations in Massachusetts will host a variety of special events during Benefit Days that will include local authors of children’s books, musicians, jugglers, clowns, and artists.
