Randolph and West Springfield, Mass. – [June 2, 2025] — May Institute is excited to announce the launch of Speech and Language Therapy services at its May Centers for Children & Families in Randolph and West Springfield, Massachusetts.
These services are now available to autistic children enrolled in the Centers’ ABA (applied behavior analysis) programs, as well as to children ages 2–12, with or without an autism diagnosis, who are not currently receiving ABA services, but can benefit from speech and language support.
“Communication is central to learning, social connection, and independence,” said Lauren C. Solotar, Ph.D., ABPP, President and CEO of May Institute. “By offering speech and language therapy, we’re expanding access to high-quality, individualized care that helps children build confidence, express themselves, and thrive in everyday life.”
Speech and language therapy helps children improve their ability to understand and use language, follow directions, pronounce words clearly, and engage in meaningful social interactions. For some children, therapy also includes support for using AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices to enhance independence and connection.
All therapy is delivered in-person by licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in child-friendly settings. Services are fun and evidence-based, and are tailored to each child’s developmental level and communication goals.
