May Institute Named One of Massachusetts’ Largest Nonprofits by the Boston Business Journal

Randolph, Mass. – The Boston Business Journal recognized May Institute as the 10th largest nonprofit organization in Massachusetts, based on total 2019 revenue, and the 28th largest based on total 2019 assets, according to its list of Largest Nonprofit Organizations in Massachusetts. 

May Institute is a national nonprofit provider of services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs across the lifespan, and a leader in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

According to the Boston Business Journal, May Institute is the state’s fifth-largest nonprofit employer. 

“The size of our organization is meaningful because it allows us to serve greater numbers of individuals and families with significant needs,” said Lauren C. Solotar, Ph.D., ABBP, President and Chief Executive Officer, one of only eight women who lead the top 30 nonprofits in Massachusetts. “Because we serve diverse populations supported by multiple funding streams, it also results in fiscal stability during uncertain economic periods such as these.”
