May Institute's School in Randolph Holds Special Olympic Day Games

Randolph, Mass. — On Friday, September 15, May Institute teamed up with Special Olympics Massachusetts to host School Day Games at the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Randolph, Mass.

One hundred and forty-six students took part in the games that included walking and running, jumping, and throwing events and a relay race. Members of the Randolph Police Department participated in the Opening Ceremonies.

“We were excited to collaborate with Special Olympics Massachusetts again this year to offer this fantastic opportunity to our students and their families,” said Alan Anselmi, Adapted Physical Education Instructor at the School. “These games give our students the chance to further challenge themselves and excel in a positive and supportive sporting environment. We are so grateful to all the volunteers from the Randolph community who staffed the seven activity and comfort stations for our event.”
