May Institute Fundraiser in Boston to Support Program and Technology Enhancements

03/3/17

Randolph, Mass. – A May Institute fundraiser – Where Hope and Possibility Blossom – will be held on April 13th in Boston to raise funds for technological enhancements such as tablets, interactive smart boards, and adaptive and assistive communication devices to benefit individuals in the organization’s special education schools, children’s home- and center-based programs, and adult programs.

May Institute is a national nonprofit that provides services to individuals of all ages with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, brain injury and neurobehavioral disorders, and other special needs.

“Technology plays a critical role in enhancing the lives of the individuals we serve on a daily basis.” says Mary Tiernan, Senior Vice President of Philanthropy. “For example, adults and children alike use iPads for learning throughout their day, both at school and in their programs, as well as at their residences.”

The Where Hope and Possibilities Blossom cocktail reception will be held at the Downtown Harvard Club in Boston on Thursday, April 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear heartfelt messages from May Institute families, purchase original artwork created by individuals in May programs, participate in a mystery box raffle, and more.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. To learn more about partnering with May Institute, or for more information, contact mhunt@mayinstitute.org or visit www.mayinstitute.org/specialevents.
