Ralph Sperry, Ph.D., Named Senior Vice President of Consultation Services for May Institute

Randolph, Mass. – May Institute, a leading provider of educational, behavioral, and rehabilitative services for individuals with special needs, has announced the appointment of Ralph Sperry, Ph.D., as Senior Vice President of Consultation Services. May Institute provides consultation services to public schools, educational collaboratives, private agencies, and families.

A licensed clinical psychologist and family therapist, Dr. Sperry is responsible for the operation and management of the Institute’s home-based and school consultation services for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities, school adjustment and behavior disorders, neurological and psychiatric disorders, and other disabilities. He also oversees May Institute operations that relate to the organization’s expanded autism services for military families across the United States.

Dr. Sperry comes to May Institute with over 25 years of experience in behavioral health management. He served as Chief Executive Officer for psychiatric hospitals and behavioral health systems in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Mexico, and has an appointment to the medical staff of the Newport Rhode Island Naval Station. Dr. Sperry received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Saybrook Institute in San Francisco, Calif.
