May Counseling Center in Walpole Transitioning Mental Health Services

03/22/17

ANNOUNCEMENT: May Counseling Center in Walpole Transitioning Mental Health Services to Toward Independent Living and Learning (TILL) (as of 3/31/17)

May Counseling Center, a behavioral health clinic in Walpole, will be closing effective 3/31/2017. It has been May’s great pleasure to serve the many individuals and families who have entrusted us with their care and we have appreciated the opportunity to provide quality mental health services. To ensure continuity of the excellent services and a seamless transition, we are transitioning all of May Counseling Center’s services to TILL’s Strattus Mental Health clinic. We are very pleased about this arrangement as both of our clinics share a similar philosophy and culture with regard to our commitment to clients and families. Most of May’s clinical staff, including psychiatry, as well as the majority of our clients have chosen to transfer to Strattus beginning April 1, allowing for psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management services to be maintained without interruption.

TILL was founded in 1980 by Dafna Krouk-Gordon, who continues in the role of President of TILL, Inc. TILL’s mission and commitment is to provide innovative services that ensure everyone is afforded the individualized supports needed to achieve an independent and fulfilling life. TILL has created a diverse range of behavioral, in home, residential, vocational and support services to thousands of people over the years. Strattus has been an integral part of those services for nearly three decades. Strattus, TILL’s Mental Health Clinic is located at TILL’s main office at 20 Eastbrook Road in Dedham, MA. It is a DPH licensed, full service mental health clinic that provides both clinic-based and mobile outpatient services.
