Nathan Lambright Promoted to Clinical Leadership Post at May Institute

Randolph, Mass. —Nathan Lambright, Psy.D., BCBA-D, was recently promoted to Vice President of Clinical Services in Educational Services for May Institute, a national nonprofit that serves individuals with autism, brain injury, mental illness, and other special needs.

Previously the Senior Clinical Director for the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Randolph, Mass., Dr. Lambright is now responsible for providing clinical oversight to all four of the organization’s schools for autism as well as its school for students with brain injury and related disorders. In addition, he is a member of the faculty for May Institute’s doctoral internship program in Clinical Psychology, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association.

A licensed psychologist and certified health services provider, Dr. Lambright received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University, where his dissertation won the Cyril F. Franks Award for excellence in research. He completed a pre-doctoral internship at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Ontario, Canada, in early behavioral intervention for autism and neuropsychological testing.

Dr. Lambright is an expert in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder, Tourette syndrome, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, has specialized training in evidence-based treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), and is board certified in applied behavior analysis at the doctoral level.

Prior to joining May Institute, Dr. Lambright was Program Coordinator for Home School Consultation Services at the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center in New Brunswick, N.J.

In addition to his responsibilities at May Institute, Dr. Lambright serves as Director of the Boston Child Study Center, an organization focused on bringing together experts from local hospital, universities, and treatment centers to promote the dissemination of evidence-based treatment and assessment practices. He is a Consulting Psychologist for McLean Hospital, and holds an appointment at Harvard Medical School as an Instructor of Psychology.

Dr. Lambright is a member of the Association for Behavior and Cognitive Therapies, American Psychological Association, Division 53 (Child and Adolescent Psychology), and the Tourette Syndrome Association of America. He has delivered numerous talks and workshops at these organization’s annual conferences.
