May Institute Appoints Jocelyn Frederick to its Board of Trustees

Randolph, Mass. —Jocelyn Frederick, AIA, ACHA, EDAC, LEED BD+C, has joined May Institute’s Board of Trustees. An internationally renowned architect, Frederick is a Principal at Tsoi/Kobus & Associates, and leads that firm’s core national healthcare practice.  
 
May Institute is a national network of programs and services that meets the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs across the lifespan.
 
“Jocelyn has expansive knowledge of healthcare issues and trends, and an extensive background of applying an analytical approach to helping organizations achieve their strategic goals,” said Stephen Young, L.L.B., Chairperson of May Institute’s Board of Trustees. “I’m confident she will make significant contributions to our Board as we collaborate with executive leadership to provide the highest quality services to and facilities for the Institute’s clients, and to successfully govern and add value to the organization.”

Frederick’s extensive experience includes her leadership role in complex healthcare planning and facility design for Boston Medical Center; Massachusetts Eye and Ear; The Johns Hopkins Hospital; Rush University Medical Center; the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; and Egyptian Air Force Hospital.
 
She graduated from the University of Hawaii with a bachelor’s degree in pre-architecture, and earned a master’s degree in architecture at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Frederick is a founding member of the American College of Healthcare Architects, a frequent lecturer at professional conferences, and a regular contributor to key industry publications.
