Eileen G. Pollack Named Senior Vice President of Development, Communications, and Public Relations at May Institute

Randolph, Mass. –Eileen G. Pollack, of Newton, Mass., (see full bio here) has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Development, Communications, and Public Relations for May Institute, a leading national provider of educational, behavioral, and rehabilitative services for individuals with special needs.

Her responsibilities include providing strategic direction for May Institute’s comprehensive, integrated communications programs. She also manages the organization’s development initiatives.

Ms. Pollack joined the Institute in 2003, and was instrumental in the strategic planning and launch of the organization’s National Autism Center. She orchestrated the international dissemination of the results of the Center’s National Standards Project, and has served as co-editor for its other publications, including resource manuals for parents and public school systems.

In her previous role as Vice President of Communications and Public Relations, she led teams that produced award-winning public awareness and fundraising campaigns, and that placed thousands of stories, articles, and expert columns in national and local media outlets. To date, her communications team has won 35 prestigious industry awards.

Ms. Pollack earned a master’s degree in Corporate and Political Communications from Fairfield University in Connecticut. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Publicity Club of New England, the New England Society for Healthcare Communications, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
