Legislators and business leaders come together at our school for brain injury.

11/14/23

State Legislators, Norwood area business leaders, and leadership from May Institute and MAAPS (Massachusetts Association of Approved Special Education Schools) gathered at the May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders in Norwood, Massachusetts, this morning for coffee and conversation. This special event was a celebration of the school's 30th year and an opportunity for legislators to meet their constituents and get a glimpse into this unique and important educational program.

A very special thanks to the parents who came out today to join us in support of their children, the school, and the importance of our work.

Thank you to May's Andrea Potoczny-Gray, M.Ed., CBIS, Executive Director, for hosting today's event at the school. And to Lauren C. Solotar, Ph.D., ABPP, President and Chief Executive Officer; Debra Blair, M.B.A., CMA, CPA, Chief Operating Officer; Pam Raymond, M.A., BCBA, Senior Vice President of Educational Services, and Matthew Riley, Psy.D., BCBA, Senior Vice President, Educational Services for attending to meet all of our guests. And thanks to MAAPS' Elizabeth Dello Russo Becker, Executive Director, and Jim Daiute, Director Of External Affairs, for supporting this event and all 776 schools.
