Learning to Vote at May!

11/1/20

Everyone who can vote - deserves the opportunity to learn how! The May Center School in Randolph put the tools in place this week to teach students how to fill out a ballot and cast their vote.

The enterprising teachers in Classroom 335 have set up a mock voting booth in the hallway outside their classroom stocked with ballots. Ballots were adapted so all students could vote. And they invited the whole school to join in on Tuesday to vote!

Since you can't vote without information, they also offered some fast facts about the candidates on colorful PowerPoints to help each student decide how they want to vote.

Everyone adhered to the 6-feet apart standard for safety, and there was a bottle of sanitizer in the voting booth! And Faustina was glad to vote and show us how it's done.
