Donations in Honor or in Memory

As an expression of sympathy, families often ask for gifts in honor of the deceased be made to May Institute. If you would like to include May Institute in tribute gifts like this, please contact the Philanthropy Office at 781-437-1287.

The language below may be used in a newspaper or online notification indicating your wishes:

To honor ________’s memory, donations made in her/his name should be sent to May Institute, Philanthropy Office, 41 Pacella Park Drive, Randolph, MA 02368 or made online at mayinstitute.org/donate.

Pathway to the May

Pathway to the May is our commemorative brick program promoting our health and wellness initiative, MAY You Be Healthy. The program raises funds for physical activities, and sporting and outdoor equipment. Your brick will be installed in a special walkway where visitors, friends, staff, and families will see it each day.

Purchase a brick to:

• Honor a friend or family member
• Celebrate special achievements
• Highlight a birthday or graduation
• Recognize a loved one (“in memory of”)
• Dedicate a brick to a special teacher or staff member
• Share a favorite quote

Bricks are available in two sizes and are engraved with your personal message.

Pathway Brick, $150

Your 4”x8” brick can have up to 3 lines of wording and 20 characters per line (includes spaces and punctuation).

Stepping Stone Brick, $350

Your 8”x8” brick can have up to 6 lines of wording and 20 characters per line (includes spaces and punctuation).
 

Installation

Bricks will be installed at each location during the summer months. Bricks purchased before June 30th will be included; bricks purchased after that date will be installed the following year.
