Pathways for Parents - A Seat at the Table: Making Mealtime Work

Free virtual autism training

Please join Karie S. DePaolo, Ph.D., BCBA-D, in this virtual training for parents and caregivers!

Summary: For many parents of autistic children, mealtime is a challenge. Children may be unwilling to eat certain textures of foods, restrict their diets to a small range of specific foods, or engage in meltdowns during mealtimes. In this presentation we will discuss some reasons why these challenges occur, focusing on sensory sensitivities. We will share practical strategies for making mealtimes more enjoyable for children and families.

Presenter: Dr. Karie DePaolo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Autism Center at May Institute. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

This training is free, so register now! Once you register, you will receive an email to confirm your attendance and provide you with the webinar link.
