Description: Dr. Lindsay Oberman is a world-renowned expert in the use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).She is currently the Director of the Neuroplasticity and Autism Spectrum Disorder Program at Bradley Hospital where she uses TMS to understand the neural mechanisms underlying the behavioral impairments associated with ASD and related neurodevelopmental disorders. Her work has also been the basis of the development of novel treatment strategies for those on the spectrum. She will present findings from her lab and others on the use of this innovative technology in autism research and treatment.
