Professional Continuing Education Seminar Series
Join us for this workshop that is part of our intermediate to advanced-level workshop series for human services and behavioral healthcare professionals working in clinical, educational, medical, and rehabilitation settings.
Instructor: Debora Bloom, M.A.
Description: This highly engaging program will provide perspectives and tools to help clinical staff increase their effectiveness with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Participants will explore a mutual learning process that helps bridge cultural differences and contributes to the delivery of more culturally appropriate services. They will learn and practice a culturally respectful approach to working with clients and co-workers who may come from backgrounds different than their own.
