Pathways for Parents: Toilet Training 101 - A Swirl of Successful Interventions

Free virtual autism training

Please join Karie S. DePaolo, Ph.D., BCBA-D, in this virtual training as she provides caregivers with the basics on beginning toilet training,
as well as options for more individualized interventions.

Toilet training is one of the most time-consuming and frustrating milestones that a caregiver of an individual with autism or other developmental disabilities will encounter.  Children who are not successfully toilet trained may be restricted from accessing certain social interactions or environments. Caregivers may continue to flush money down the drain in diapers, wipes, and other toileting necessities for many years.  Children who do not develop healthy toileting habits may be more susceptible to medical problems down the road.

The training will provide caregivers with the basics on beginning toilet training, as well as options for more individualized interventions.  Materials will also be available after the training for attendees.
Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Presenter: Dr. Karie DePaolo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Autism Center at May Institute. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

This training is free, so register now! Once you register, you will receive an email to confirm your attendance and provide you with the webinar link.
