Pathways for Parents - Ideas for Promoting Play

Free virtual autism training

Please join Karie S. DePaolo, Ph.D., BCBA-D, in this virtual training for parents and caregivers!

Summary: Young children learn to navigate the world through play. Play helps children develop social, emotional, and problem-solving skills. One way that children develop play skills is through imitation. However, imitation skills do not always come naturally to the autistic child. This presentation is intended for the parents of young autistic learners. We’ll discuss the importance of play, and how to help your child develop play skills through reciprocal imitation.

Presenter: Dr. Karie DePaolo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Autism Center at May Institute. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

This training is free, so register now! Once you register, you will receive an email to confirm your attendance. We will provide you with the webinar link closer to the event date.
