Introduction to School-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

Join us to learn about School-wide PBIS and about how to improve discipline and academic performance in your school.

What is School-wide PBIS?
This FREE introduction to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports for school and district administrators, school psychologists, counselors, intervention specialists, and teachers will include an overview of research-based assessment and intervention practices that school teams apply using a three-tiered systems prevention model. We will review specific steps schools and districts should take to become “ready” to implement PBIS, which will increase sustainability and the development of local capacity.

Will School-wide PBIS work in my school?
PBIS has been successfully implemented at all grade levels in over 10,000 schools across the country to improve academic outcomes and establish safer school environments. After attending this session, you will understand how PBIS strategies could be successfully implemented in your school or district.

To register, please contact Corinna Graham at cgraham@mayinstitute.org or 781.437.1381.

If you are unable to attend this session but still interested in implementing PBIS, please contact us.
