Join us for this workshop that is part of our intermediate to advanced-level workshop series for human services and behavioral healthcare professionals working in clinical, educational, medical, and rehabilitation settings.

Event Description: Behavior analytic practice is complex from many perspectives. Adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code is an essential skill for behavior analysts, and is the foundation on which clinical services are delivered. 

This talk will focus on the development of individual and organizational strategies to assist behavior analysts in fulfilling their ethical obligations. Particular attention will be paid to dual relationships, adequate assessment, and least restrictive interventions. 

In addition, special issue that arise in consent, confidentiality, social media, and solicitation of clients will be addressed. The advantages of an ethical culture will be reviewed, including ideas for reviewing ethical implications of clinical scenarios and addressing ethical conflicts.

CE Credits: May Institute is approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to grant Continuing Education Credits.  This seminar will grant two (2) Ethics Continuing Education Credits for BCBA professionals.
