This free event is part of Experts on Autism - May Institute’s 2010-2011 Speaker Series which will take place at the Hockomock Area YMCA in Foxboro, Mass. Special thanks to the YMCA for partnering with us on these events.

Description: Feeding issues are quite common among children with autism, and it can be a struggle to ensure they get the nutrition they need. The issues related to childhood obesity further complicate matters. Dr. Lauren Solotar will discuss the challenges parents face in trying to help children eat nutritional foods and the rising concerns regarding childhood obesity.

Time: Presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m. A typical evening will include a one-hour presentation, 30 minutes for questions and answers with the speaker, and 30 minutes for networking opportunities.
