Autism-Friendly Performance of Astrid Lindgren’s "Pippi Longstocking"

What makes this performance special?

  • A “Meet-Your-Seat” trial run is offered to patrons on Saturday, April 20 between 10:00 – 11:00 am.
  • Social Story guides will be offered to all patrons to introduce you to the theatre, the play, the characters, and the storyline.
  • There will be two designated quiet rooms within the theatre.
  • Lighting and sound extremes will be modified. House will not go black, loud noises will be softened.
  • Additional trained staff will be on site to assist families.

The show is 90 minutes with a 15-minute intermission.

Our audience on this date will be made up of only families within the greater Boston ASD community; there will not be an issue of behavior expectations.
