May Institute’s “Summer Swing” Golf Tournament and Family Outing, being held on Monday, July 26, 2010, is a fundraising event that supports May Institute’s Adult Services programs throughout the New England region. These programs provide day services, employment training, and residential services to adults with autism and other developmental and behavioral disabilities.

Participating in the Summer Swing is an ideal way to support our services. We invite you to participate in this important event by golfing, joining in the recreational activities available, or through our numerous sponsorship opportunities.

Golfers will be able to play at Glen Ellen Country Club’s championship style 18-hole golf course, which includes unlimited use of practice facilities, shower and locker room, cart, golf shirt, and complimentary lunch after the round.

Throughout the day there will be raffles, a silent auction, and golf contests on and off the course, including a hole-in-one contest and a $1,500 putting contest.

For the non-golfers, Glen Ellen Country Club offers full-size and kiddie pools, softball and soccer fields, three beach volleyball courts, six tennis and basketball courts as well as bocce courts and horseshoes. Lunch is also included in the ticket price.

This event will take place RAIN or SHINE! Last year’s Golf Tournament was a great success and lots of fun. We hope you can join us this year!
