This newest May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Mansfield will serve students ages 3–22 offer full-day, year-round educational services.
The school's location in Mansfield will allow May Institute to provide its evidence-based educational model to an additional 48 students whose needs require a highly specialized program, expanding access to services in southeastern Massachusetts. It is scheduled to open in October of 2025.
As in our other May Center Schools, the Mansfield school will focus on building communication, social, behavioral, vocational, and academic skills. The schools provide individualized instruction based on the principles of applied behavior analysis, or ABA, as well as other evidence-based interdisciplinary services.
The new school will feature a 22,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art campus designed to foster academic and personal development. Highlights include:
