Gage is Back on the Ice

In 2015, Gage Senter was a impressive high school hockey player, making the varsity team in Amesbury, Mass., as a freshman, and being selected for the Junior Olympic team. But a tragic accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury changed everything. The strong skater with the big dreams had to begin again, re-learning how to walk and talk and skate. With the help of Physical Therapist Stacey Sirotta and other staff members at the May Center for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders in Brockton, Mass., that’s exactly what he did. Today, Gage is back on the ice and giving back by helping other youngsters with traumatic injury.

We are honored that ABC Nightly News chose to share his story during an #AmericaStrong segment narrated by anchor David Muir.
