Samuel Shvarts is a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LABA) and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). He has been working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, ages 2-21, for more than 12 years.
He earned master’s degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) from Florida Institute of Technology. At the Institute, he was an active member of multiple research laboratories, and has earned publication on the topics of parent training and translational research.
Mr. Shvarts joined May Institute in June of 2018 as a Clinical Operations Specialist, responsible for creating systems for electronic behavioral data collection and training clinical staff to implement these systems. Currently, he is the Program Director at the May Center for ABA Services in Wilmington, Mass.
In a behavior analytic role, Mr. Shvarts is responsible for supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BCBA candidates, conducting functional assessments, writing treatment plans, parent training, and analyzing data.
As a Program Director, Mr. Shvarts coordinates the hiring and training of new staff, reviews treatment plans, and oversees scheduling and supervision of onsite BCBAs, organizes clinical team meetings, and intake of new clients.
