Paul (PJ) Simeone, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, ATP
Vice President of Allied Health and Supportive Technology


Dr. Simeone is responsible for overseeing current and developing new Allied Health and Supportive Technology services across the organization.  

A specialist in assistive technology (AT) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for people of all ages and abilities, Dr. Simeone has 17 years of experience in multiple settings at the individual and organizational level. He has worked in private, home and center-based services, private practice and consultancy, and public and private school settings. His areas of expertise also include developing and providing clinical and operational services for adults and children with autism and developmental disabilities. 

Dr. Simeone's previous experience includes running a private consulting practice where he provided evaluation and consultation services to individuals, families, schools, and organizations. More recently, he served as Vice President of Allied Health Services for a private behavioral health company, where he developed and oversaw speech, occupational therapy, and AT services for children and adults across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Earlier in his career, he served as the Director of Rehabilitation Services for the May Center School in Randolph. He is delighted to return to the May.

Dr. Simeone earned his doctoral degree in Clinical Research in Rehabilitation Sciences from Mass General Hospital's Institute of Health Professions. He also has a master’s degree in Communication Disorders from CUNY Lehman College in Bronx, N.Y. A researcher with multiple publications related to autism, communication, AT, and AAC, he is a frequent presenter and trainer at the local and national level.
