[Press Release: May Institute Appoints Nicole Barlow as Executive Director of New Autism School in Mansfield, Mass.]

Nicole has over 15 years of experience working with autistic students, their families, and their sending districts. She joined May Institute in 2010 as a Teacher Assistant at the May Center School in Randolph. She has since held numerous roles at the school including Classroom Teacher, Educational Administrator, Director of Education, and Assistant Executive Director.

She will be taking on the role of Executive Director at the new May Center School in Mansfield, Mass., in the Fall of 2025. As Executive Director, Nicole will lead a team of teachers and administrators in the daily operations of the school.

Nicole earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western New England College, a master's degree in Psychology from Boston University, and a master’s degree in Severe Special Education from Bridgewater State University. She is a professionally licensed special education teacher in Massachusetts, and is pursuing her license in Special Education Administration from Bridgewater State University.

She was a recipient of a May Institute Exceptional Service Award in 2024.
