Michelle Pomeroy, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist May Center for Early Intervention, Western Massachusetts


Michelle Pomeroy is a Speech-Language Pathologist who supports children and families in the areas of communication, feeding, and swallowing. She also provides guidance around autism evaluations and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) assessments to help ensure every child has access to meaningful communication.

Michelle joined May Institute in February of 2025, and brings prior experience from public school settings and specialized pediatric hospitals, where she supported children with a wide range of developmental and communication needs. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College.

Her professional interests include autism spectrum disorder, AAC, and the impact of auditory processing differences on literacy development in autistic individuals – a focus of her ongoing research.
