Jessica Szczechowicz, M.Ed.
Director of Education/Educational Administrator, May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, Wilmington, Mass.


Ms. Szczechowicz joined May Institute in 2005 as a teacher’s assistant in the May Center School in Arlington. She became a Senior Teacher at the May Center School in Woburn in 2006, an Educational Case Manager in 2009, a Senior Educational Manager in 2010, and Director of Education in 2011. She continued on in that position when the school relocated to Wilmington in 2017.

Her current responsibilities include overseeing educational programming for all students at the Wilmington school, supervising the educational team, and finalizing all educational documents including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Progress Reports, Educational Evaluations, and Discharge Summaries.

Ms. Szczechowicz earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stonehill College, and a master’s degree in Severe Special Education from Fitchburg State College. She is licensed as a special education teacher in Massachusetts.
