Jennifer Iverson, M.A.T.
Director of Education, May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, Randolph, Mass.


Jennifer Iverson, M.A.T., joined May Institute in 2005 as a Teaching Assistant. Since then, she has served the organization as a Teacher, Educational Team Case Manager, Curriculum Specialist, and Director of Curriculum and School Programming.

Through the years, she has developed skills in adapting curriculum to meet the individual needs of students, developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), conducting student assessments, and administering and reporting state testing (MCAS*, NYSAA**, ACCESS for ELL***). She has also been responsible for training and supervising staff.

As Director of Education for the May Center School in Randolph, she oversees the team of Special Education Administrators and Teachers, as well as professional development, educational programming, and the “specials” (art, music, adaptive physical education, and educational technology) curriculum.

Ms. Iverson received both her bachelor’s in Art, and master’s in the Art of Teaching from Simmons College. She holds a Massachusetts teaching license.
