Employee Spotlight Award Winner, June 2018
Mr. Toohey joined The Bay School team in 2008, was promoted to Senior Instructor in 2010, and became Coordinator of Vocational Services in 2015. Prior to working at TBS, Mr. Toohey served as a job coach at a local organization serving adults with disabilities utilizing a community-based work model. He has a breadth of experience and is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. As Coordinator of Vocational Services, Mr. Toohey leads our Employment and Community Inclusion Program where he supports our students in gaining opportunities to engage in paid, competitive work or accessing valuable service-learning experiences in integrated community settings.
Mr. Toohey graduated from the University of Lowell with a BA in Elementary Education and English.
