James Davis has been working with individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities and other special needs populations since 1995. He joined May Institute as Senior Assistant Director of Residential Services in 2004 for the North Shore area after working at Vinfen for 10 years.
In his current role as Director, he supervises and oversees a significant portion of the residential homes for the May Center for Adult Services in Eastern Massachusetts. His responsibilities include new development, evaluating and placing new residents, maintaining medical care, ensuring a meaningful and therapeutic home environment, and supporting individuals so they can learn new skills and live more independently. Since becoming a Director in 2012, he has been able to consistently maintain high quality standards in the homes on his caseload.
A graduate of University of Vermont, James holds a master's degree in Management from Cambridge College.
