Eddie Kinney

Residential Director


Edward Kinney was born and raised in Dorchester, MA. He has 20 years of operational experience leading, supervising, and directing employees who support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism.

Mr. Kinney joined The May Center in 2005 as an assistant residential teacher. He became an Assistant Program Coordinator in 2006, a Program Coordinator in 2009, Senior Program Coordinator in 2016, and Assistant Residential Director in 2017.

In 2024, he joined Cardinal Cushing Center as the Director of Residential Services, overseeing all aspects of Residential Department operations, including residential student programming, personnel management and supervision, quality assurance, and the development of new program models.

He rejoined The May Center in 2025 as the Director of Residential Services, where he currently drives high-quality care, ensures regulatory compliance, and champions a positive, inclusive environment across all homes associated with The May Center School in Randolph, MA. He enjoys mentoring staff, partnering with cross-functional departments, and engaging with families to ensure individuals receive the highest standard of care.
