As May Institute’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources (HR), Carolyn Wiesenhahn oversees our Talent Management, People Operations, and Human Resources Management System (HRMS) data management teams. In this role, she provides leadership to develop, implement, and scale practices and programs to attract, develop, and retain a highly skilled, caring, and diverse workforce.
Carolyn’s career spans over 20 years and includes leadership roles in both law and HR. She is passionate about fostering a workplace where everyone can thrive and bring their best each day for those we serve.
Prior to joining May Institute, Carolyn was Chief People Officer at CDW Corporation, a Fortune 160 company that provides technology products and services for business, government, and education.
Her previous experience also includes more than 16 years with CVS Health Corporation. There, she held several positions before becoming the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, where she led HR for CVS Caremark.
Earlier in her career, Carolyn was an Associate with Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, PC, a general practice, full-service law firm with 600 attorneys worldwide.
She serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Public Television Foundation and The Public’s Radio, and is a member of its Governance Committee.
Carolyn earned a Juris Doctorate at the Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature at Miami University in Ohio. She is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Carolyn’s personal time is focused on family and her commitment to physical and emotional wellbeing. She and her husband have two children and live in the Boston area.
