Bridget Anderson, M.Ed., BCBA
Executive Director, May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, West Springfield, Mass.


Bridget has more than 15 years of experience working with children with autism and their families. She has been with May Institute since 2007 and has held numerous positions including Teacher Assistant, Family Services Coordinator, Director of Family Support Services, Director of School Operations, Interim Executive Director, and Assistant Executive Director of the May Center School in Randolph, Mass. She has been the Executive Director of the May Center School in West Springfield since June of 2022.

Her undergraduate degree is in Psychology from Providence College. She earned a Master’s in Education, School Counseling, from Salem State University. Bridget is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in School Counseling, grades 5-12. She is an active member of the Association of Behavior Analysts International (ABAI).

Bridget is also a column writer for the West Springfield Republican newspaper. These columns are posted in the Expert Column section in the May Institute website. She was a recipient of a May Institute Exceptional Service Award in 2020.
