Brandie Rankin, M.Ed., BCBA
Behavior Analyst, The Bay School, a May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities

Ms. Rankin joined The Bay School team in 2011 as an Instructor, became a Teacher Trainee in 2013, and transitioned to Special Education Teacher in 2015, where she worked for six years with high school and post-secondary aged students. In 2021, Ms. Rankin became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and was promoted to a Behavior Analyst position. 

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Education degree from California State University, Monterey Bay. Ms. Rankin completed research for her master’s thesis on skill acquisition using instructive feedback, a procedure in which additional information is provided to a learner during reinforcement. She holds a moderate/severe education specialist instruction credential, and completed coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology.

Ms. Rankin is a member of the California Association for Behavior Analysis (CalABA), and the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).
